There are as many reasons for running as there are days in the year, years in my life. But mostly I run because I am an animal and a child, an artist and a saint. So, too, are you. Find your own play, your own self-renewing compulsion, and you will become the person you are meant to be. - George Sheehan

Stunning!
Hope you're right about the weather
What's the half anyway??
I think you may have just crippled me with jealousy.. Mike better hope that Tauranga measures up!
It's the Wairarapa Country Half Marathon, which leaves from Masterton and, as the name would suggest, winds through the countryside in a loop. It was my first attempt at a half marathon some years ago now - got to the 10k drink stop, vomited everywhere and was made to pull out! There's a couple of reasonable hills and it's a very pretty course. As you say though, I know I can do a fast 10k, not so sure about 21!
I am, of course, sure Tauranga will be lovely. Nice part of the country ....
Gorgeous! Will you take me here when I come visit you?

Absolutely Dusty, but I think I'm supposed to be visiting you first!
Argh, I'm still annoyed at myself that I didn't make it to any of the Spring Festival things, especially as we're practically living at the edge of the Gardens now!
I think it's the first time I've actually managed to see the tulips in bloom. They were rather pretty!
